Se pone oficialmente en marcha la Liga de Beisbol Supermáster
Ejido Compuertas, Ahome, 20 de octubre de 2019 (IMDA).- Con un emotivo homenaje a Ramón Urías Machado, este domingo fue inaugurada la segunda temporada de la Liga de Beisbol Veteranos Supermáster Mingo Vázquez.
El coordinador de comités deportivos del Instituto Municipal del Deporte de Ahome (IMDA), Mauricio Sánchez Gámez, fue el encargado de realizar la tomar de protesta e inaugural la nueva campaña, participando también en el tradicional lanzamiento de la primera bola como recetor, donde el director del organismo rector del deporte en el municipio, Felipe Juárez Soto, fungió como lanzador.
Leobardo Vázquez, quien acudió en representación del homenajeado permanente, Mingo Vázquez, hizo funciones de bateador y Marco Antonio Esquer de ampáyer. El presidente de la liga, Nicolás Mariscal, quien se vio acompañado por el secretario Cirilo Vázquez y el tesorero Cayetano López, dio la bienvenida a los jugadores, y en los honores a la bandera participaron miembros de la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública.
La liga, que es para jugadores de 60 años y más, contará esta vez con la participación de equipos como Sevelbampo, Ahome, el campeón Compuertas, ejido Mochis y el subcampeón Gallos de RSN.
Durante la ceremonia se realizó la entrega de reconocimientos a lo más destacado de la temporada 2018.
Julio Díaz recibió la placa como campeón de bateo, Erasmo López Fierro en pitcheo, Gallos RSN como subcampeón y Compuertas como monarca.
Alma Adela Sánchez Cruz, madrina de los Gallos RSN, fue elegida reina de la temporada.
