El presidente de Grupo Orlegi, Alejanrdo Irarragorri adelantó que el modelo del calendario del Apertura 2020 cambiará de forma sustancial, pues seguirá un modelos similar al de las ligas en Europa, en el que ningún equipo tendrá definido día y horario para disputar sus duelos como local.

Esta situación será por cuestiones relacionadas a los derechos de transmisión, pues serán las televisoras las que tengan injerencia directa en relación a la programación de la jornada.

«No es el club el que establece los horarios, la televisión se ha vuelto un factor importante y por ende son quienes deciden junto con la liga en que horario juegan».

«Es probable que seis meses o un año no haya equipos con horarios fijos y lo que existan sean espacios para que los equipos tengan que acomodarse a ellos como en las lgas importantes del mundo. Pensar en un horario fijo no es parte de la modernidad de la industria del futbol», concluyó.
