Más de 300 participantes intervienen en el evento atlético y ciclista

Villa de Ahome, 7 de marzo de 2020 (IMDA).- Con total éxito se realizó este sábado
la Caravana Deportiva “Encuentro de padres e hijos”, que formó parte de las fiestas
carnestolendas de esta sindicatura.

Más de trecientos asistentes entre padres de familia y atletas desde los dos hasta
los 13 años, disfrutaron de una mañana inolvidable compitiendo en carreras
pedestre y ciclista.

Ahí estuvieron presentes Felipe Juárez Soto, director del Instituto Municipal del
Deporte de Ahome (IMDA), la entidad organizadora del evento, el síndico Juan
Manuel Ruiz, y la delegada de deportes, Beatriz Soto.

“Estoy gratamente sorprendido por la gran respuesta a este evento, eso es
precisamente lo que quiere nuestro presidente municipal (Billy Chapman), que se
fomente la convivencia familiar, y si es por medio del deporte, mucho mejor”, les
dijo Felipe Juárez a los ahí reunidos.

Por su parte, Juan Manuel Ruiz agradeció el apoyo del municipio en los eventos
deportivos.

“Gracias a todos ustedes por asistir, pero, sobre todo, gracias a Felipe Juárez por
traernos un motivo más de armonía, deporte y esparcimiento con esta caravana
deportiva. Quiero decirles que cada vez que hemos tocado la puerta de su oficina,
siempre ha estado abierta para escuchar nuestras inquietudes y apoyarnos en cada
una de nuestras peticiones”, manifestó Ruiz, ante los aplausos de la gran cantidad
de asistentes.

LOS GANADORES
En la competencia de triciclo de la categoría 2-3 años, Pablo Conasi fue el ganador,
Conrado Emmanuel López terminó en la segunda posición y Jesús Ruiz Castro en la
tercera. La rama femenil fue dominada por Victoria Marisela Delgado.

En ciclismo, rodada 16 para pedalistas entre 6 y 7 años, la rama varonil se la
adjudicó Ramón Hernández Galaviz, Emiliano Gutiérrez finalizó en segundo lugar y
Juan de Dios Ruiz en tercero, en tanto que la rama femenil la ganó Diana Acosta
Soto, superando a Delani Castro Valenzuela y a Estefanía Elizalde, quienes llegaron
a la meta en ese orden.

Ángel Fernando Espinoza fue el más veloz en la competencia de 8-9 años (rodada
20), donde Miguel Sotelo terminó segundo y Antonio Ochoa tercero. Itzel Leyva fue
la mejor entre las niñas, Perla Mendoza quedó segunda e Ileana López tercera.

Con un sensacional sprint, Juan Valdez se colgó la medalla de primer lugar en 10-11
años (rodada 24) para imponerse a Isaías Rivera (segundo) y a Máximo Bernal
(tercero). La rama femenil la ganó Dulce Sousa, Xóchitl Juárez llegó segunda y
Ximena González tercera.

Dentro de 12-13 años varonil hubo poca resistencia ante Bryan Sousa, quien se
llevó el primer lugar, Juan González se ubicó en la segunda posición y Gerardo Cota
en la tercera. Daniela Corral dominó la prueba para las niñas.

Finalmente, en la categoría Libre ganó William Cárdenas, en tanto Javier Mendoza
terminó segundo lugar.
