Con la llegada de Ronny Deila a NYCFC, todas las franquicias de la MLS cuentan con un DT de cara a la temporada 2020. La liga contará con cinco caras nuevas en los banquillos.

Este lunes, NYCFC hizo oficial la contratación del noruego Rony Deila, quien se hará cargo de llevar a la franquicia de ‘La Gran Manzana’ a los primeros lugares de la MLS en la temporada 2020; con esta noticia, todos los equipos de la Major League Soccer cuentan con director técnico de cara al Super Draft 2020 y con esto la planeación de la próxima temporada.

 

Para esta campaña, la liga más importante de Estados Unidos y Canadá contará con cinco caras nuevas en los banquillos, Roony una de ella. La lista de los entrenadores que comenzaran un nuevo ciclo en sus carreras como estrategas la integran: Diego Alonso, Tab Ramos, Thierry Henry, Raphael Wicky y el ya mencionado entrenador de NYCFC.

 

El reto para estos entrenadores es grande, ya que todos los clubes buscan convertirse en protagonistas de la liga, siendo Thierry Henry y Diego Alonso los que tienen la tarea más difícil, por el nombre y trayectoria de cada uno; mientras que Tab Ramos no cuenta con experiencia como DT en la MLS, pero al trabajar toda su carrera en la USMNT sería el que tiene mayor conocimiento de la liga.

 

Como llegan a la MLS

Thierry Henry

El francés llega a Montreal Impact para demostrar su calidad como entrenador después de decepcionar en la liga francesa con Mónaco, antes fue asistente en la Selección de Bélgica. Henry jugó en la MLS antes de retirarse, por lo que sabe lo difícil que es la campaña regular en USA.

 

Diego Alonso

El uruguayo llegó Inter Miami, a uno de los clubes que más expectativas ha levando en su debut en la MLS. Alonso llega después de dirigir a Monterrey y a Pachuca en la Liga MX. Gracias a los enfrentamientos en la Concacaf Champions League, Diego tiene conocimiento de cómo juegan algunos equipos de la Major League Soccer.

Tab Ramos

El estadounidense está ante la prueba más dura de su carrera, ya que será primera ocasión que sea el encargado de comandar a un club. Su trayectoria como entrenador la realizó en categorías inferiores y como asistente en la Selección de Estados Unidos.

 

Raphael Wicky

El estratega suizo se formó como DT con el Basel, club con el que debutó en 2017, posteriormente emigró a USA, donde se hizo cargo de la Selección U-17. Para este 2020 será el encargado de comandar el nuevo proyecto de Chicago Fire. Wicky conoce la MLS, ya que se retiró como profesional vistiendo los colores de Chicas USA.

 

Ronny Deila

El noruego dejó al Valerenga, club de la Primera División de Noruega, para comenzar una nueva etapa en su carrera, ahora al frente de NYCFC. Deila llega después de un gran paso por el Celtic y el Stromsgodset donde se consagró campeón de la Liga de Escocia en dos ocasiones.
