HOUSTON, Texas.- Luego del colapso de la segunda mitad de Houston en casa ante Minnesota en la US Open Cup el martes pasado, el entrenador del Dynamo, Wilmer Cabrera, se sintió aliviado por el hecho de que había seleccionado una alineación diferente, una con más titulares regulares, cuando el equipo regresó a la MLS en Portland .
Pero a los 39 minutos del primer juego de Houston en el recientemente renovado Providence Park el sábado, el Dynamo (7-4-3, 24 puntos) estuvo a la zaga y finalmente perdió 4-0.
«No lo hicimos bien cuando estábamos atacando. El Dynamo estará en San José (5-6-4, 19 puntos) el miércoles y en Nueva Inglaterra (4-8-4, 16 puntos) el sábado para terminar el viaje.
Agravando las luchas actuales del equipo, que ganó uno de sus últimos seis partidos de liga, es la ausencia de sus máximos goleadores.
El anotador líder, Mauro Manotas, se ha reincorporado al equipo luego de tomarse el tiempo para manejar los asuntos familiares en Colombia.
