El luchador mexicano Mr. Niebla falleció a los 46 años de edad este lunes a causa de una infección en la sangre que lo aquejaba desde el mes de octubre pasado, causada por una lesión.
El gladiador, que militó en el CMLL, fue internado esta misma tarde por dicho padecimiento, situación que se había repetido en las últimas semanas y finalizó con su deceso, como lo dieron a conocer otros miembros del pancracio, como Místico y Sam Adonis, así como la misma empresa.
El organismo mostró su tristeza por la muerte de este gladiador, el cual formó parte de sus filas durante muchos años, con un emotivo comunicado.
«El CMLL se une a la pena que embarga a la familia luchística por el sensible fallecimiento del luchador Mr. Niebla, quien tuvo una destacada trayectoria en la historia de este deporte, colocándose como una de las máximas figuras», declaró la organización.
Mr. Niebla fue campeón mundial de peso completo del CMLL, además de poseer el cinturón mundial de parejas del mismo organismo junto a Shocker, así como el título mundial de tríos en un par de ocasiones.
El líder de la Peste Negra, como también era conocido, desarrolló su carrera en el CMLL de 1995 a 2007, para posteriormente recaer en la Triple A de 2007 a 2008.
Tras solo un año en esa promotora, el Rey del Guaguancó, volvió al Consejo Mundial, donde siguió con su carrera hasta este año 2019 en el que perdió la vida.
