Los Mochis, Sinaloa, 15 de junio de 2019 (IMDA).- En breve pero emotiva ceremonia se puso oficialmente en marcha la Copa Inclusión de Goal Ball, cuya primera edición alberga 20 equipos, doce en la rama varonil y ocho en la femenil.

El gimnasio del Oratorio Don Bosco es el lugar donde se realizó el protocolo de apertura con la asistencia de Felipe Juárez Soto, director del Instituto Municipal del Deporte de Ahome; Ileana Casillas, promotora de Apoyo a la Juventud, Jesús Alberto Navarro, jugador y entrenador de esta disciplina, así como Carlos Valenzuela, director del Centro de Capacitación y Atención Psicológica para la Inclusión (Cecapsi).

El torneo, que lleva como lema “vive una nueva experiencia”, va dirigido para personas sin discapacidad visual, a fin de impulsar la cultura de la inclusión en busca de una sociedad más empática y amorosa, señaló Carlos Valenzuela al dar la bienvenida a los jugadores.

En su mensaje dentro de la declaratoria inaugural, Felipe Juárez destacó los buenos resultados que han obtenido los deportistas con algún tipo de discapacidad en eventos estatales, regionales y nacionales.

“El presidente municipal Billy Chapman tiene un compromiso muy grande con los atletas con discapacidad, se está procurando que tengan la atención debida en todos los aspectos, y eso ha derivado en que se hayan tenido hasta el momento extraordinarias actuaciones en torneos de cualquier tipo, incluso ayer (viernes) estuvimos con basquetbolistas sobre silla de ruedas que se trajeron el título y un tercer lugar del campeonato estatal celebrado en Culiacán”, manifestó.

Atendiendo al formato de inclusión, el IMDA presentó un equipo conformado por Felipe Juárez, Manuel Castro y Abel Monrroy, quienes abrieron el torneo sufriendo par de derrotas, primero ante Cinespi por 5-0 y posteriormente ante Cecapsi por 5-3.

Los otros conjuntos varoniles son Inclusión Deportiva, Mágicos de El Fuerte, Laser Logo, Rino Gym, Oratorio Don Bosco, Empatiza contigo, Corredores, Masajistas y Terraza 800, mientras que en la femenil compiten Cecapsi, LIE, Upes, Oratorio Don Bosco, Rino Gym, Laser Logo, Tarraza 800 y Mágicos de El Fuerte.
