Después de la victoria ante Venezuela, el director técnico de la selección mexicana, Gerardo Martino, dio a conocer la lista de los 23 jugadores que enfrentarán la Copa Oro a partir del domingo 15 de junio.

El Tata fue claro con respecto a la lesión de Edson Álvarez y aseguró que de no recuperarse, Uriel Antuna entraría en su lugar.

Lista de convocados

Porteros: Guillermo Ochoa, Jonathan Orozco y Hugo González

Defensas: Fernando Navarro, Jorge Sánchez, Diego Reyes, Carlos Salcedo, César Montes, Héctor Moreno, Néstor Araujo, Luis Rodríguez, Jesús Gallardo y Edson Álvarez.

Mediocampistas: Jonathan dos Santos, Carlos Rodríguez, Andrés Guardado, Erick Gutiérrez, Luis Montes y Orbelín Pineda.

Delanteros: Raúl Jiménez, Rodolfo Pizarro, Alexis Vega y Roberto Alvarado.

México estará en el Grupo A del certamen junto a Canadá, Martinica y Cuba,pero antes deberá medirse en su último juego de preparación contra Ecuador en Arlington, Texas.
