Cristiano Ronaldo le dio el triunfo de 2-1 a la Juventus en tiempo de compensación sobre Genoa y la colocó en la cima de la Serie A.

Al 95′, Ronaldo cobró un penal a la izquierda del arquero, a quien le fue imposible llegar al balón, que fue bien colocado por el portugués. Cuatro minutos antes, el propio delantero había anotado, pero su gol fue anulado por fuera de juego.

La Juve se había ido al frente desde el minuto 36 por conducto de Leonardo Bonucci, pero cuatro minutos después Christian Kouamé igualó el encuentro.

Genoa tuvo un segundo tiempo de pesadilla, pues vio las expulsiones de Francesco Cassata (51′) y de su arquero Fernando Marchetti (57′).

Por Juventus, Adrien Rabiot (87′) se fue a los vestidores por ver doble amarilla.

El amplio dominio de la Juve se reflejó durante todo el partido, además de los 12 remates de gol que tuvieron, por apenas 3 de la visita.

Con el triunfo, Juventus llega a 26 puntos y lidera la tabla general de la Serie A, arriba del Inter que suma 25. Genoa se estancó en la posición 17 con apenas 8 unidades.
