Houston Tx- Con cuadrangulares de Bertrán y Reddick, Astros regresó al Minute Maid Park la noche del Miércoles, derrotando a los Diamondbacks de Arizona por marcador de 9-5 y así llevarse el tercer juego de la serie.

El decimocuarto cuadrangular de Carlos Bertrán, abriría la pizarra para Astros 1-0 en la parte baja de la segunda  entrada.

Un doblete de Brandon Drury impulsó a Chris Iannetta, para empatar el marcador 1-1.

Con casa llena en la parte baja del tercer episodio, Astros amenazó a Arizona. Con pasaporte en mano, el Venezolano Marwin González caminó a primera base mandando a George Springer a la caja registradora, para el 2-1. Un fly de sacrificio de Carlos Bertrán y anotación de José Altuve, Astros aumentaría su ventaja 3-1.

En la parte baja de la cuarta entrada, carreras de Derek Fisher y Josh Reddick moverían la pizarra, 5-1.

Arizona respondió en el octavo episodio, con un vuela bardas de Paul Goldschmith, anotación de Jake Lamb y otro cuadrangular de J.D. Martínez, acercarían a Arizona en la pizarra 5-4.

De nueva cuenta Astros amenazó con casa llena en la parte baja de la octava entrada, carrera de Juan Centeno después de un error del pitcher David Hernández, Astros seguiría arriba 6-4. Un fly de sacrificio de Jose Altuve, anotación de Derek Fisher y cuadrangular de Josh Reddick, para el 9-4.

Un cuadrangular de Chris Iannetta por el jardín central en la parte alta de la novena entrada, pondría punto final a la derrota de Arizona 9-5.

El pitcher ganador fue Charlie Morton, lazó 6.1 episodios, le conectaron 3 imparables, 1 carrera, regaló 4 pasaportes y ponchó a 9, para llevarse su décima victoria de la temporada.

Taijuan Walker en 5 entradas  le conectaron 9 imparables, 1 cuadrangular, 5 carreras, regaló 2 pasaportes y ponchó a 3, para obtener su séptima derrota en la campaña.
