Antonio Brown, nuevo receptor de los New England Patriots, fue acusado de agredir sexualmente y violar a una mujer que trabajó con él como entrenadora personal en 2017 y 2018.

La demanda, cuya copia fue revisada por ESPN, fue presentada por la ex preparadora física de Brown, Britney Taylor, en una corte del Distrito Sur de Florida.

En el documento, Taylor, a quien Brown conoció en la Universidad de Central Michigan, señala tres incidentes distintos en los que acusa de abuso al receptor, dos en junio de 2017 y otro en mayo de 2018.

En los primeros casos, Taylor relata que Brown abusó de ella durante dos sesiones de entrenamiento, la primera ocasión, al exponerse desnudo frente a ella y besarla sin su consentimiento y la segunda, en casa del jugador, donde, según relata en la demanda, ella veía televisión en un sofá y Brown comenzó a masturbarse detrás de Taylor y eyaculó en su espalda.

Meses después de los incidentes y tras poner fin a su relación laboral con Brown, Taylor relata que el jugador la contactó para disculparse, pero dijo no haber creído que fuera sincero.

En el incidente de mayo de 2018, Taylor relata que Brown la aventó hacia una cama y puso su rostro contra el colchón y la penetró mientras gritaba “¡No!” y “¡Para!”.

En un comunicado emitido por sus sus abogados, Brown negó las acusaciones.

“El Sr. Brown niega todas y cada una de las acusaciones en la demanda”, dijo Darren Heitner, abogado que representa al receptor de los Patriots.

En el comunicado, Heitner señala que Taylor contactó en 2017 a Brown para proponerle invertir $1.6 millones en un proyecto de negocio, pero que Taylor no informó a Brown que había sido multada con $300,000 por la oficina recaudadora de impuestos de Estados Unidos y que parte de esa inversión la usaría para recuperar propiedades que le fueron incautadas.

Tras negarse a invertir en el negocio, Heitner señaló que Taylor volvió a buscar a Brown hasta 2018 y que ambos se involucraron en una “relación personal” y que cualquier interacción sexual fue consensuada.

Asimismo, Heitner señaló en el comunicado que Taylor fue quien buscó en otras ocasiones a Brown y que en relación a la presunta violación ocurrida en mayo de 2018 y señalada en la demanda, la ex gimnasta buscó a Brown, fue a casa del jugador sin ser invitada, pero consintió tener relaciones con el receptor.

“Como víctima de violación de Antonio Brown, decidir exponer esto fue una decisión increíblemente difícil”, dijo Taylor en un comunicado publicado por su abogado. “He encontrado fuerza en mi fe, mi familia y de los relatos de otras víctimas de violación”.

Brown, quien nació en Miami, fue oficialmente firmado por los Patriots el lunes, luego de una tumultuosa semana que provocó su salida de los Oakland Raiders.

El receptor tiene programada el miércoles su primera práctica con los Patriots.

En un comunicado, los Patriots indicaron estar al tanto de la demanda civil en contra de Brown y de la respuesta del receptor y señalaron que la NFL les informó que ya investiga el

«Bajo ninguna circunstancia etsa organización condona la agresión o la violencia sexual», leyó el comunicado.
