HOUSTON.- Gerrit Cole tuvo una soberbia actuación bajando la cortina durante 7 entradas completas para mantener en cero a la ofensiva de los Angelinos de los Angeles, permitiendo sólo 3 imparables, ayudado por la ofensiva con batazos oportunos para la victoria  de 4-0 en el segundo de la serie en el Minute Maid Park sobre el equipo californiano.

Gerrit Cole se llevó la victoria lanzando 7 entradas, con 3 imparables, 2 bases y 9 ponches, el derrotado fue Andrew Heaney, vio actividad en 5 episodios, le conectaron 5 hits, le anotaron par de carreras, regaló 2 bases y ponchó a 5 rivales.
